Three utilities and no city system, so your community name matters
Parkland does not run its own water system. The City of Coconut Creek utility, North Springs Improvement District and Parkland Utilities, Inc. each serve different communities, so the right first call depends on where you live.
The City of Coconut Creek utility (954-973-6732) serves County Point, Country Place, Cypress Trail, Sable Pass, Mayfair, Mill Run, Parkland Terraces, Lakes at Parkland, Parkland Place, Shoppes of Parkland and Whittier Oaks, among others. That is the same utility that bills our home city, so we know it well.
Tell us your community when you call. It decides whether a pressure drop or a discolored tap is a utility matter or something inside your house.

Water heater down or water running wrong in Parkland?
Call now with your community name and a licensed plumber is dispatched.
Test your tap before you buy a softener or a filter
We do not state a hardness figure for any Parkland utility, because none is published for the private one and we will not guess. The honest way to find out is to test your tap, either with a test kit or a lab test, before you spend money on equipment.
The City of Parkland notes that residents of the private utility have raised water-quality complaints, and the state says the system meets minimum standards. If your water smells, stains fixtures or leaves scale on the heater, a test points to the right fix, whether that is a water softener or filtration system or nothing at all.
Scale on a heating element or sediment in the tank also shortens heater life, so a water heater repair visit is a good moment to ask for a test.
Where we start on a Parkland call
Dispatch runs around the clock to every Parkland address. These are the services we reach for first, in the order Parkland calls usually need them.
Water heater
No hot water, a leaking tank or a pilot that will not hold. We check the heating element or burner first and tell you whether repair or replacement makes sense.
Softening and filtration
Scale, staining or odor. We pair the test result with the equipment rather than selling a system first.
Leak detection
A meter that moves with everything off. See leak detection for how we find the line without opening walls.
Wells, septic and the parts of Parkland that run differently
The City of Parkland lists a contact for wells and septic tanks, so some properties here do not use a standard sewer connection. The city does not say where, so the first visit confirms what you have before we plan any work.
Septic work is a different job from a sewer backup. A drain that slows only when the whole system is full may be a septic issue, and in that case we tell you plainly if the next call belongs to a septic specialist.
The city also notes that repairing faucets and valves does not need a permit, and fixture replacement may. We do not promise what applies to your job, so ask the Parkland Building Department at 954-753-5447 before a larger project.
Roads, parks and ZIP codes on our Parkland routes
City Hall is at 6600 University Drive in ZIP 33067, at the corner of University Drive and Holmberg Road. We drive Sample Road and University Drive to reach it, about 8 to 10 miles from Coconut Creek.
Terramar Park at 6700 W Hillsboro Boulevard is also in 33067, and Pine Trails Park at 10555 Trails End is in 33076, which Parkland shares with Coral Springs. We cover both ZIPs, so a water heater failure in 33076 gets the same 24/7 dispatch as one in 33067. Our team also covers Margate and Deerfield Beach.
Before we arrive at your Parkland address
Longer trips need a better handoff, so give dispatch these four details and then work through the list. The drive from Coconut Creek is about 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the roads.
Name your community
Tell us which Parkland community you live in so we know which utility serves you.
Shut off the heater supply
If the tank is leaking, close the cold water valve above it. If it is electric, switch off its breaker before touching anything near the water.
Close the main
Shut the main valve at the house if water is spraying or pooling and cannot be stopped.
Skip hot taps
Do not run hot water if the heater is leaking or making noise. Scalding steam can escape.

The map centers on Parkland, in the northwest corner of Broward County, a longer drive from our Coconut Creek base than the other towns we serve.
Parkland plumbing questions
Yes. Our line answers 24/7 and we dispatch to Parkland nights, weekends and holidays. Tell us your community name, your street and what the water is doing, and shut off the main if you can reach it.
Yes. We cover 33067, where City Hall sits at University Drive and Holmberg Road, and 33076, which Parkland shares with Coral Springs. Pine Trails Park is in 33076, so give us your street and community when you call.
About 8 to 10 miles, roughly 15 to 25 minutes via Sample Road and University Drive. Those are estimates rather than an arrival promise, and we confirm timing on the call.
Three utilities serve Parkland communities: the City of Coconut Creek utility, North Springs Improvement District and Parkland Utilities, Inc. The City of Parkland lists which communities each serves, and your bill shows yours.
We do not quote a figure, because none is verified for every Parkland utility. Test your tap with a kit or a lab, or ask your utility, before you buy a softener.
We work on the plumbing inside the house and the line leaving it. Some Parkland properties use wells or septic tanks, and if the problem lies with the tank or the well itself, we tell you which specialist to call.
