Four towns, one 24/7 line
Margate, FL
Next-door city to the south. Margate utility also serves homes in southern Coconut Creek. ZIPs 33063 and 33068.
Coral Springs, FL
Large planned city to the west, with four water providers. ZIPs 33065, 33071 and the shared 33076.
Parkland, FL
Northwest Broward town where three utilities serve different communities. ZIPs 33067 and the shared 33076.
Deerfield Beach, FL
East of Coconut Creek, with its own city water and a county district. ZIPs 33442, 33441 and 33064.
What changes from one town to the next
Water service is the biggest difference. In Coconut Creek the line between two city utilities follows Coconut Creek Parkway, so a main break or meter question goes to a different office depending on which side you live. The Margate page explains why that matters for homes near the border.
Coral Springs is served by several water providers rather than one, so neighbors on adjacent streets can have different bills and different phone numbers for outside problems. Our Coral Springs page lists the providers and the ZIP codes we cover.
Parkland has no city-run water system. Three separate utilities serve its communities, and some areas may rely on wells or septic. That makes the first question on a call simple: which community are you in? The Parkland page walks through it.
Deerfield Beach runs its own water plant and also falls within a Broward County water district. Homes near the coast and homes inland can face different issues, and the Deerfield Beach page covers both.

How coverage works
Coconut Creek is the home base. Calls from the home city use ZIP codes 33063, 33066 and 33073, and the 33097 PO box ZIP, and the line answers the same way for all of them.
Every town page covers the water utility that serves that town, the ZIP codes we dispatch to and the plumbing questions people there ask most. Utilities differ from one town to the next, so the page tells you who to call about the main outside your property line.
North Lauderdale sits just south of Margate and Lighthouse Point is next to Deerfield Beach. We can dispatch to both, and the Margate and Deerfield Beach pages cover them. If your address is a little farther out, call and we will tell you straight whether we can reach it.
When your address sits on a town line
Several neighborhoods here sit close to a city limit, and mail addresses do not always match the city that governs the street. A home with a Margate mailing address can be in Coconut Creek, and a few ZIP codes are shared across towns.
That matters for two things. Your water bill tells you which utility handles outside problems, and your city building department is the one to ask about permits. We dispatch either way, and on the call we can usually sort out which agency applies to your street.
If you rent, the owner or property manager may be the right person to call for shutoff access. We can still send a plumber when the situation is urgent, and we will tell you what to pass along to the owner.
Why hurricane season changes the calls we get
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and the whole service area feels it. Heavy rain finds weak roof penetrations, wind can crack exposed supply lines, and power loss can leave a water heater or sump system off for days.
Hurricane Wilma in 2005 and Hurricane Irma in 2017 are the two storms Broward residents tend to measure others against. After any named storm, check the meter, look at ceilings for new stains and call if the water pressure has changed.
If a storm leaves you without power, keep the main shutoff handy and avoid running water through fixtures you are unsure about until the line has been looked at.
What helps us confirm coverage quickly
Have the street address and the nearest cross street ready. If you are not sure which town you live in, the ZIP code on your mail usually settles it, though a few ZIP codes are shared between towns.
Tell us what the water is doing and whether you have closed the main shutoff. We dispatch emergencies first, and we give planned work a date when the schedule allows.
